Treaty [Patents] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 35 USCS § 351 (a) [Title 35. Patents; Part IV. Patent Cooperation Treaty; Chapter 35. Definitions] the term treaty means “the Patent Cooperation Treaty done at Washington, on June 19, 1970.”
The Patent Cooperation Treaty entered into force on January 24, 1978. It was amended on October 2, 1979, and modified on February 3, 1984, and October 3, 2001.
