The Trust for Public Land (TPL) is a national, nonprofit land conservation organization that conserves land for people to enjoy as parks, gardens, natural areas and open space. TPL practices a land ethic by improving public access to public lands, fostering community-owned or maintained parks and gardens, and establishing local community land trusts.
